Mission Statement
The Knoxville Christian Youth Bands (KCYB) is a Christian-based band program for homeschool, private, and public school students who are interested in an outstanding instrumental music experience.
What we offer your children
•Quality music education in a band setting
•Qualified music staff
•Wide variety of ensemble opportunities
•Beginning Band for new students
•Concert Band for students with a minimum of six months playing
experience
•Symphonic Band for advanced students by audition
•Jazz Band for advanced students by audition
•Exciting performance opportunities, including:
•Pops Concert
•Christmas Concert
•Spring Concert
•Music in the Parks Festival at Dollywood
•ETSBOA Junior, Senior and Jazz Band Clinics
Student Ages
5th through 12th grade
Rehearsal Days
•Tuesday: Beginning Band 5:15-6:15 PM
Concert Band 4:00-6:00 PM
Symphonic Band 6:30-8:30 PM
•Thursday: Jazz Band 6:30-8:30 PM
•Rehearsal location: First Baptist Church of Powell
Fees
•Registration Fee: $25 per family, per semester
•Seating Fee: $50 per student, per band, per semester
•Library Fee: $25 per student, per band, per semester
Participation Requirements
•We ask that students commit for the full academic year.
•Students must take private lessons through their sophomore year
•Students must meet all attendance requirements of rehearsals and performances
Rehearsals begin in August

The Knoxville Christian Youth Bands is presenting the most spectacular Spring Performance in it's 16 year history this coming May 10th. We are expecting nearly 1000 audience attendees!
We are offering advertising in our professionally designed program in return for a donation. All businesses are encouraged to participate. The suggested donation rates are VERY reasonable.
