Homeschooling is joy, hard work, opportunity, and often a humbling experience. We are grateful to live in a country where this freedom exists. We have completed the home schooling journey traveling from birth through high school. Union County Extension and 4-H 865-992-8038; The Smoky Mountain Club is an active 4-H club in which many homeschool families participate to enhance hands on learning.

Support Groups and Co-ops

Union County Homeschool Support Group meets periodically at various locations when an activity or field trip is planned by parents in the group. It is a small group with children ranging in ages from birth through high school. An annual Mom's Meeting is held yearly for encouragement and learning.
